Associated Solutions Takes on a Corporate Cooking Challenge

Cooking Skills Challenge Private Event

Recently, we welcomed approximately 20 guests from Associated Solutions to Cooking Skills & Social for a private corporate team-building event in Itasca.

Instead of a traditional company outing, the group participated in our Cooking Skills Challenge—a hands-on cooking competition designed to encourage teamwork, communication, creativity, and a little friendly competition.

A Hands-On Corporate Team-Building Experience

Guests were divided into teams and challenged to work together to prepare a complete meal. Each team had to organize responsibilities, manage its time, communicate clearly, and bring every dish together before sitting down to enjoy the final results.

The fast-paced format gave everyone a chance to participate, regardless of their cooking experience.

The Cooking Challenge Menu

The Associated Solutions team prepared:

• Appetizer: Smoked Pepper and Garlic Hummus

• Salad: Rushmore Chopped Salad

• Main Course: Ginger Garlic Velvet Chicken

• Side Dish: Almond and Wild Rice Pilaf

With several dishes to complete, each team had to divide tasks and rely on one another throughout the experience.

Teamwork Outside the Office
