Frequently Asked Questions
Our classes are hands on. Each guest will make their own cuisine items with a partner and enjoy the food they create. All classes are led by a private chef.
Our kitchen is equipped with spacious stainless-steel prep stations designed for pairs of aspiring chefs to cook together. Feel free to come solo or with friends – we'll make sure everyone has a cooking partner! If you're joining with your own group, you're welcome to choose your cooking companion. The best part? You'll get to enjoy everything you create together.
We require a minimum of 12 attendees to run a class. Our class maximum depends on the menu, but is usually around 18 people.
Our ability to accommodate dietary needs varies by class. Many of our Asian cuisine courses can be easily adapted for vegetarian diners, though some classes (like our steak workshops) are unfortunately not suitable. Several of our menus are naturally gluten-free or dairy-free as well.
For specific details about any class, please email us at info@cookingskillsacademy.com before registering, and we'll be happy to discuss your dietary requirements.
You're welcome to bring birthday cakes and desserts to celebrate special occasions - just let us know in advance. For all other outside food, we ask that you enjoy our in-house menu.
We'd love to host your event! We offer two options: interactive cooking experiences led by our expert culinary team, or private facility rentals where you have exclusive use of our space. For either option, we'll provide a detailed rental agreement outlining all terms and policies.
Children are welcome to attend our classes when accompanied by their ticket-holding legal guardian. We ask that parents consider their child's maturity level and ability to participate without disrupting the learning environment. Please note that our Mixology classes are strictly limited to participants 21 and older.
Complimentary filtered water and hibiscus iced tea are provided during each class. We're BYOB friendly, so you're welcome to bring your preferred beverages, including sodas, juices, or alcoholic drinks.
